Mesotheraphy Lipolysis
Injection lipolysis chemically reduces the number of fat cells around the injection
site. The chemical, called deoxycholic acid, results in fat cell disruption and
death. Currently, it is FDA-approved for treatment of the fatty areas areas such
as double chin, cheeks, belly, thighs, arms and buttocks. A commonly known
type of injection lipolysis. This treatment burns fat cells for up to six weeks without causing any harm to physical skin.
TREATMENT & DURATION
Most patients have at least two treatments spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart but the
solution keeps on melting fat for 6 weeks. Then there are those clients that want
quick results and get treatments every week. Patients can have up to 6-10
treatments to the area desired except the chin (6 only). As a Lipolysis
Professional we develop a plan that best suits our clients individual
anatomy. During the period of swelling the area can look fuller than it did before
treatment, but as the fat cells are disrupted and the inflammation subsides, most
patients see results by 2 to 3 weeks after a treatment. Unless a patient were to
gain weight, the results should be long-lasting from 1-2 years.
The procedure lasts for approximately 60 minutes. Anesthetic is not needed
since the Pen implants the solution by pressure and it is painless. The most a
client could feel is equivalent to a small pinch.

WHO IS NOT A CANDIDATE
Exclusion criteria include allergy to egg and/or soybean, local infections or skin
problems, ongoing anticoagulant medications, patients who were
immunocompromised, patients with hormonal imbalances (hypothyroid and
polycystic ovarian syndrome), and pregnancy and lactation.
